If you are unsure what ID to bring please email or phone the relevant school.

YOU WILL NEED AT LEAST 3 PIECES OF ID AND IT IS IMPORTANT YOU CHECK THE LIST AND ENSURE YOU HAVE THE CORRECT ID AND THAT IT IS WITHIN THE PRESCRIBED DATES SO THAT IT CAN BE ACCEPTED.

The cost of your DBS application and ID check is £55.00 and this needs to be paid directly to the primary school processing your application. A receipt can be issued.

IF YOU DO NOT BRING THE CORRECT ID THERE WILL BE A FURTHER ADMIN CHARGE OF £6.00 FOR ANY ADDITIONAL VISITS.

Once your application has been completed you will receive your certificate at your home address, usually within a few weeks of making your application.

It is important that once you receive your certificate you MUST obtain the update service for your DBS. SiSS will then undertake an annual update service check as opposed to a 3-yearly check. There will be no requirement to undertake a new DBS once the update service is in place.

NB you have 30 days from the date on the certificate to apply for the update service.

Further information on how to obtain the update service can be found on the link below:
